Role Description

We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to join our team in a full-time hybrid role. The RSM will manage assigned agency relationships, generate quotes, and monitor overall productivity. Frequent collaboration and preparation of sales reports for management and teammates will also be required

To excel in this role, you should be adept at building relationships and solution oriented. Key responsibilities include:

  • Territory Counties:  Hillsborough, Manatee, Sarasota, Charlotte, Lee, Collier
  • Build premium growth and generate quoting activity within your assigned territory.
  • Developing and implementing territory-specific sales strategies to achieve company goals.
  • Training agency partners to ensure system awareness.
  • Recruiting and mentoring independent agencies to support our business plan.
  • Collaborating with internal departments to ensure consistent communication with agents.
  • Representing Mangrove at insurance-related events.
  • Providing documented account management for assigned agencies.
  • Collecting, organizing, and disseminating market intelligence.

 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in similar roles within the P&C insurance industry; 5+ years preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills to monitor agency results, identify trends, and develop performance improvement plans.
  • Excellent presentation skills and proficiency in crafting written content.
  • Exceptional follow-up demeanor.
  • Valid Florida driver’s license, as routine travel is required.
  • Proficiency in utilizing CRM and policy management systems.
  • Commitment to maintaining a high level of agent-centric customer service.
  • Familiarity with the Citizens Assumption/Depopulation Program.
  • P&C insurance licensed (4-40 or 2-20 preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
